I have joined many hiking groups before, but this was my first time hosting one.
It all started with an innocent Instagram story post where I invited people to join me on a hiking adventure. It took me by a surprise how many people applied.
The InstaTrip Pt. 4, which is the one the article is going to be about, was organised by the Latvian travel agency again (meaning – the first one, to which I went and covered in my blog, was also organised by them).

Another Instagram trip? Yes, that’s right. It took me much longer than it should have. This time it will be just a little recap and summary because the trip took place around 2 months ago. Call me lazy but I’m back to talk about stuff that happened and will happen anytime soon. I’m excited to bring you my adventures and photos.

The Amata river is considered to be the fastest flowing and the wildest river for boating in Latvia. It’s not recommended for amateurs to boat there with no professional in charge. So, every adrenaline seeker and adventurer who reads this article, keep that in mind when visiting Latvia! But this time the article won’t be about boating but instead about hiking along the Amata river. Slippery trail, challenging but nevertheless – awesome!
