What do we want?
When do we want it?
Like many of the countries in the world, Latvia was one of the 100 countries which held a “climate strike for the future” event and gathered many passionate activists, enthusiasts and everyone else who cared.
People were carrying cardboard signs written both in Latvian and English, chanting and even the rain couldn’t stop the passion and message.
Even though the event in Latvia wasn’t as large as in many other major cities in the world, Latvians showed their attitude and support through the internet. The official Facebook event page shows that almost 2 thousand people were interested in the event and almost 600 hundred people checked as “Going”.
